Meet the people who make it all possible.
Runa Khan is the active Founder and Executive Director of Friendship. She received international awards and recognition, some of them being Ashoka, IDB, Schwab Foundation, Positive Planet, Rolex Laureate from Bangladesh.
Marc Elvinger is a lawyer and member of the Luxembourg bar. He is chairman of Friendship Luxembourg and, along with Runa Khan, co-chairman of Friendship International.
Paolo Pellizzari is a photographer and professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He previously ran a venture capital fund and worked for BCG. He graduated as an engineer and has an MBA from INSEAD.
William Lebedel, President of Friendship France & founder of BlueRep Since his meeting with Runa Khan in 2012, William has been actively involved with Friendship, an international NGO founded and active in Bangladesh. He has been president and volunteer director of operations of Friendship France since 2015. He develops programs for access to health, education, and energy with and for the communities most affected by climate change.
Ilyas Iftekhar Rasul is a senior retired military officer with over four decades of distinguished services in leadership, management, education, UN peacekeeping and diplomacy. He joined Friendship in 2018 as Head of Education.
